How do I create an account or sign in?
Open GymBuddy, answer a few questions about your goals and sign up with your name, a username, your email and a password. Already have an account? Tap Sign in on the first screens.
Can't get in? Email us from the address you signed up with and we'll help.
How do I change the language?
Go to Settings → Language / Dil. GymBuddy switches between English and Turkish instantly, without losing a running workout.
What does GymBuddy do with Apple Health?
If you connect it in Settings → Apple Health, GymBuddy reads your heart rate, active energy and workouts during and around your training, and saves your finished strength workouts to Apple Health.
Health data is processed on your iPhone; we store only the calories of each workout. It's never sent to AI or any third party, never used for advertising and never stored in iCloud. Disconnect any time in Settings → Apple Health, or change permissions in the Health app under Sharing → Apps → GymBuddy. Details are in the privacy policy.
What data do the AI features use?
Meal photo estimates, AI programs, Review with AI and AI meal ideas use Google Gemini. Before you use one for the first time, the app shows exactly what is sent and asks for your permission; nothing is sent until you allow it.
Your email and account credentials are never sent, and Google doesn't use the data to train its models. Turn the AI features off any time in Settings → Privacy & security. They're available to users aged 18 and older. See the privacy policy for what each feature sends.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. It permanently deletes your account and all of its data. See Delete account for exactly what's removed and how to ask us by email if you can't open the app.
How do I join the beta?
Email support@trygymbuddy.com with the subject Beta and the email address of your Apple Account, and we'll send you an invite.
How do I report a user or content?
Email support@trygymbuddy.com with their username and what happened, and we'll look into it.
